Text preserved in this squeeze:......................................Restored full text of the inscription:1.[Shahr Hilâl Yuhanʿim bin Yadaʿʾab, King of Qatabân, has decreed and announced from Ḥaṭa bum, the temple of ʿAmm Dhû-Dawânum and from Raṣafum, the temple]2.[of ʾAnbay the patron-deity, and on the authority of the protective goddess and guardian of Shahr, for his clients ʿAmmîyadaʿ and Hafînum of the lineage of Haybar, and for Hawafîʾîl of the lineage of Hay- ]3. [ bar ʾAbân, and for Râʾibum of the lineage of Ḥayaw, and for ʿAliyyum and Yishraḥʿamm of the lineage of Râbiḥ, and for their kinsmen the priests of ʿAmm Dhû-Labakh, and for their womenfolk, ]4. [ and for their children -without any oversight or omission or detraction or cancellation--as a tie of friendship and affiliation and protection by ʿAmm and ʾAthîra- ]5. [ t. So let the priests of ʿAmm Dhû-Labakh and their womenfolk and their sons and their daughters adhere to this proclamation and de- ]6. [ cree. And Shahr decreed for his clients, the priests of ʿAmm Dhû-Labakh and their womenfolk and their sons, with their concurrence, in accordance with this proclamation and decree and ] 7 . [ its inscribed versions. And Shahr directed his clients, the priests of ʿAmm Dhû-Labakh, to write out and carve these inscriptions in the valley of Labakh and their chapel in ]8.
