Notes:Although a protective deity (šms) named Dhāt-Khaṭībam (Ḏt- Ḫṭbm) appears once in a Middle Sabaic inscription from Ṣirwāḥ-Khawlān (Ja 2851/7-8), this is the only known ASA inscription in which the proper name Khāṭibān/Khaṭībān is attested. In light of this, and in light of the lack of information on the slab’s provenance, it is not possible to determine the linguistic milieu from which it survives—apart from the fact that paleographic details preclude a Minaean origin.
