• Notes: This black-and-white photograph reproduces the left-hand side of the inscription. Since the inscription is long and narrow, a single photograph encompassing all of it would have to have been taken at a fair distance, in which case the text would probably be too difficult to read.

1.[ʾخl]îsamaʿ Dhubyân bin Ma[lkî]karib, King of Ḥaḍramôt, has dedicated to ʿAthtar Dhû-Qabḍim the tower of Kharîf, (i.e.) the tower which ʿAlhân bin Yadaʿʾîl, King of Ḥaḍramôt, had built with him.2.[By] ʿAthtar Dhû-[Qab]ḍim and [by Si]yyân and by [Wa]ddum [and by Nakraḥum and by] his brother ʾAbîyadaʿ Yithaʿ, King of Maʿînum; and by his tribe of Maʿînum. And ʾخlîsama[ʿ] has placed under the protection of ʿAthtar Dhû-Qa-3.bḍim and Siyyân [and] Waddum and Nakraḥum himself [and his faculties and] his son and his property.
