Arnold Zweig
Arnold Zweig (10 November 1887 – 26 November 1968) was a
German Jewish writer, pacifist and socialist.
He is best known for his six-part cycle on
World War I. In 1916 he married , a distant relative. They had two sons, Michael, who was born in 1920, and
Adam, who was born in 1924.
