Antonio J. Waring Jr.
Antonio Johnston Waring Jr. (August 17, 1915 – March 21, 1964), was an amateur archaeologist who made significant contributions to the study of pre-historic southeastern Georgia. He is best known for his role in identifying and defining the Southeastern Ceremonial Complex, together with Preston Holder. He was a cousin of scholar Joseph Frederick Waring. Provided by Wikipedia
