}}Michael Ungar (born June 18, 1963, in Montreal, Canada) is a researcher in the field of social and psychological resilience and is Principal Investigator for the [http://www.resilienceresearch.org/ Resilience Research Centre] at Dalhousie University, in Halifax, Canada, where he is a professor at the School of Social Work, a post that he has held since 2001.
