Mohammed Rustom

Mohammed Rustom (born 1980) is Full Professor of Islamic thought and global philosophy at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada and Director of the Carleton Centre for the Study of Islam. He is also Editor of Equinox Publishing's Global Philosophy series and an Editor of the Library of Arabic Literature. An internationally recognized scholar and philosopher whose works have been translated into a dozen languages, Professor Rustom's research interests include Arabic and Persian Sufi literature, Islamic philosophy, Qur’anic exegesis, translation theory, and cross-cultural philosophy.
