Max Corden

Warner Max Corden AC (13 August 1927 – 21 October 2023) was an Australian economist. He was mostly known for his work on the theory of trade protection, including the development of the Dutch disease model of international trade. He was also active in the fields of international monetary systems, macroeconomic policies of developing countries and Australian economics. Corden, originally German, emigrated from Nazi Germany to Melbourne in 1939. Corden died on 21 October 2023, at the age of 96. Provided by Wikipedia
