Anto Babić

Anto Babić (3 January 1899, Dolac – 12 January 1974, Sarajevo) was a Bosnian historian, the first dean of the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo, a member of the Academy of Sciences of Bosnia and Herzegovina, SANU, MANU. He was the founder of the Department of History at the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo. He is deemed a doyen of Bosnian and Yugoslav historiography. Provided by Wikipedia
