Hans Irschik

Hans Irschik serves as Chairperson of the Senate of the Christian Doppler Forschungsgesellschaft CDG, is a full member of the Austrian Academy of Sciences and Emeritus Professor of Technical Mechanics at the University of Linz, where he also served as Vice-Rector for Research and as Chairperson of the University Senate. He is very much interested in the interactions between engineering science and the society.
