Austria versus Napoleon 1809
An international congress marking the 215th anniversary of the 1809 Austro-French War and the battle of Deutsch-Wagram co-organised by the Institute of Habsburg and Balkan Studies of the Austrian Academy of Sciences and the Napoleon Museum Deutsch-Wagram. In addition to the academic programme with 18 speakers from eight different countries, we are holding an open science afternoon with interactive stations and research presentations for the general public. The event takes place as part of the larger Wagramer Historientage hosted by the City of Deutsch-Wagram.
