Research Projects

Evolution of plant exocytosis

I investigate the plant exocyst complex as a model to understand how macromolecular complexes evolve and acquire new functions. For this, I use a multidisciplinary approach that includes proteomics, electron cryomicroscopy, and comparative biology.

Research interests

I am interested in evolution and how proteins carry out their functions.
