Research Projects
Deciphering the Function of a Novel Autophagy Adaptor
CFS1 is a novel autophagy adaptor in Arabidopsis, which mediates the formation of amphisome via interacting with the ESCRT-1 component VPS23.
Studying Cell Type-Specific Autophagy in Arabidopsis
How autophagy behaves differently in different types of plant cells is still unknown. In this project, I aim to study autophagy dynamics in different cell types of Arabidopsis thaliana.
Research interests
Autophagy is an important cell quality control pathway for plant cells. I am interested in studying the crosstalk between autophagy and other cellular trafficking pathways in plant cells. In addition, I am also interested in cell-type-specific autophagy.
