The OeAI logo is always one-colour and is usually used in colour on a white background. If colour printing is not possible, the logo is set in the monochrome black variant. On dark or dark-coloured backgrounds, the logo is to be used in monochrome white (negative), on light-coloured backgrounds in black.

Since the OeAI is an institute of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (OeAW), the OeAI logo is always used in combination with the OeAW logo. The OeAW logo is placed in front and is always left-aligned.
