Kinderuni: »Zeichen der Zeit im Alten Ägypten«
Great research for young discoverers
In cooperation with the Kinderuni Wien, the OeAW invites young curious minds to find scientific answers to their questions in lectures, workshops and stations from 17 to 19 May 2022. The OeAI is organising the workshop on »Signs of the Times in Ancient Egypt«.
What were the ways of measuring time in Ancient Egypt? And how do Egyptologists measure time in retrospect? In the workshop you will learn what »stratigraphy« means and how archaeological things can be ordered chronologically. And last but not least, we will talk about the water clock and how you can measure time with it.
