The artemis moon exploration program

Key to unlocking deep space

NASA Orion spacecraft on November 28, 2022 (c) NASA

Humans have not walked on the Moon since Apollo 17 in 1972. With NASA’s Artemis campaign, humanity is exploring the Moon for scientific discovery, technology advancement, and to learn how to live and work on another world to prepare for human missions to Mars. NASA is collaborating with commercial and international partners to establish the first long-term presence on the Moon. Using innovative technologies to explore more of the lunar surface than ever before, NASA will illuminate our bright future among the stars. Mr. Kshatriya will discuss the upcoming Artemis missions and how together, as one team united, we are making it possible.
