ICA Best Paper Award for Eva Tamara Asboth

Eva Tamara Asboth’s paper How to research past global publics? A methodological approach combining transfer studies and communication studies has been ranked as the best paper submitted to the Communication History Division of ICA.

In this paper, Asboth combines theories of micro-history and of public spheres and presents a methodological approach that enables the analysis of global spaces that have emerged in the past and that highlights the transfers between actors, (sub)publics, and communication infrastructures. She receives the award at 74th Annual ICA Conference in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Australia. Gratulations!
