… is a member of the research unit DH Research&Infrastructure, currently working as a research data engineer on the projects WIBARAB: What is bedouin-type Arabic? and Grocers of Istanbul: Tracing Food Consumption (GrocerIST).

She holds a bachelor’s degree in the International BA Programme in East Asian Studies – Japanese Studies from the University of Hamburg. Her interest in digital tools was sparked during her bachelor’s thesis, titled "Ideophones for emotions in Japanese: A corpus-based morphosyntactic analysis". This led to her enrolment in the M.Sc. Digital Humanities programme at the University of Trier. After completing a year-long exchange at the University of Tokyo, where she gained insights into the DH landscape in Japan, she is currently working on her Master’s thesis, which also focuses on Japanese ideophones.
