ESQ Members Philipp Haslinger, Jörg Schmiedmayer, and former ESQ Postdoc Sebastian Erne, together with their teams in Vienna and Innsbruck publish their latest findings in Physical Review X

Using light, atoms can be made to attract each other. A team from Vienna and Innsbruck was able to measure this binding state of light and matter for the first time.
