ToNoWaste: Developing a holistic assessment for food waste prevention.

About
Alexander Reich's wide-ranging interests and fields of activity almost naturally led him to technology assessment. He first worked at the ITA in 2019 on the topic of “Digitalization in the food value chain” and has been part of the team for the EU project ToNoWaste since 2024.
Education & Experience
In 2007, his training as a Shinergy Instructor provided him with knowledge of anatomy, physiology, sports science, training didactics and nutrition. In 2009, Alexander Reich completed his conservatory training in jazz. He has been active as a studio and session musician, composer and music coach. In the course of his activities, he has also gained design, management and marketing experience.
He completed his Bachelor's degree in Technical Physics in 2021 and is currently in the Master's program for Physics at TU Wien. He has been involved in ITA projects since 2019. Alexander Reich has been working as a textbook author for physics and biology since 2023.
He has been pursuing his passion for the preparation and communication of subject content for 20 years in youth and adult education with a focus on music and performance, mathematics and scientific subjects, coming into contact with a wide range of disciplines from radiology to business administration in the course of his activities.
