For his pioneering work in educational development of the fatigue behaviour of materials, Prof. Reinhard Pippan was presented with the Wöhler medal from the European Structural Integrity Society (ESIS).
The Wöhler medal is ESIS‘s highest award. On July 10, 2014, Prof. Reinhard Pippan accepted this honor during the 20th European Conference in Trondheim.
This award is just a further mark of excellence showcasing for the international reach of Leoben’s material scientists.
