Schwechat MGV and its musical repertoire

This database documents the program collection and memorial books of the former Männergesangverein Schwechat (now known as Chorklang Schwechat). By analyzing these records (2024), it was possible to compile a nearly complete performance history for the period from 1851 to 1944.

All event details—including organizer, location, work titles, composers, performers, conductors, etc.—were recorded in this MySQL database. The database provides a representative overview of the development and focal points in male choir singing in Austria during this period.
