DEMOS – Research Data on Austrian Music

The database portal („Daten zur Erforschung der Musik in Österreich“, established in 2013) offers a collection of sources and materials on Austrian music history, with a particular emphasis on the 19th and early 20th centuries, and a special focus on Vienna. Its goal is to supplement the Oesterreichisches Musiklexikon Online (Austrian Encyclopedia of Music Online) by providing essential source material for the study of music in Austria.

The data is organized in multiple SQL databases and can be easily accessed through user-friendly forms.
