… has a multidisciplinary background in foreign languages, linguistics and pedagogy. She has trained at different international universities, including Ireland (TCD, UCD), Spain (USAL), Portugal (ULisboa), Poland (UJ) and Vienna (UniVie). After completing her PhD in linguistics at Trinity College Dublin she joined the ACDH-CH as a postdoctoral researcher where she contributed to different Digital Humanities projects, collaborating with diverse (inter)national scientific and non-scientific actor groups. From 2020 to 2023 she was a member of the team working on lexical variation in the Special Research Programme Deutsch in Österreich (German in Austria) at the University of Vienna. She has served on management committee boards, and held positions as PI, Co-PI, Programme Coordinator and lecturer.

At the ACDH-CH, Amelie Dorn is part of the Consulting & Project Management team since 2023 where she supports researchers along different stages of the proposal submission process. She also supports administrative processes as part of the Central Office. Additionally, she contributes to the project The ABCs of Dialects.
