… has a multidisciplinary background in foreign languages, linguistics and pedagogy. During her education she trained at different international universities, including Ireland (TCD, UCD), Spain (USAL), Portugal (ULisboa), Poland (UJ) and Vienna (UniVie). After completing her PhD in linguistics at Trinity College Dublin she joined the ACDH-CH as a postdoctoral researcher where she contributed to different Digital Humanities projects, collaborating with diverse (inter)national scientific and non-scientific actor groups. In 2020 she joined the University of Vienna where she is a member of the team working on lexical variation in the Special Research Programme “Deutsch in Österreich” (‘German in Austria’). She has served on management committee boards, and held positions as PI, Co-PI, Programme Coordinator and lecturer.

At the ACDH-CH, Amelie Dorn is part of the Consulting & Project Management team since 2023 where she supports researchers along different stages of the proposal submission process. She also contributes to “The ABCs of Dialects” and “DWA Austria – Pilot study” projects.
